At the end of July, we held a Partner Training session here at the PEDCO headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. We had Partners from all around Europe and the USA attend a 2-day training session on becoming a Certified Quality Manager of Applied SAFe.

Felix Rüssel of Kegon relaxing during the break.

The Applied SAFe® Quality Management course is a 2-day course where you will gain the knowledge needed to lead the integration, adoption, and extension of Applied SAFe within your company. You will learn how to structure your workspace hierarchy, and your process model to be able to define different implementation strategies as supported by Applied SAFe.

Who Attended?

Our partner, KEGON, sent 4 of their employees to learn more about Applied SAFe and become a Quality Manager. KEGON was founded in 2002 and offers strategic business consulting, agile coaching and training.

Secondly, our Partner UFG attended. UFG, UFirst Group Inc., is an International IT Consulting and Agile Transformation Firm. Their mission is to leverage their collective experiences in cutting edge tech advances in App development, IoT, CRM, and Cloud setups/migrations while excelling in execution via pragmatic agile transformation.

Third, we welcomed Embold Technologies. Embold Technologies has developed a state-of-the-art, intelligent software analytics platform as a part of a mission to start a global movement for clean code.

Fourth, SoCraAgile attended the training. The area of activity of SoCraAgile is the promotion of agility and technical excellence in the business and software development contexts, based on coaching, mentoring, and consulting.

Fifth, our newest partner Mutatis.io joined us as well. At Mutatis, they focus on organizations that are looking for employee engagement and innovation all while creating and maintaining a dynamic of sustainable performance by activating collective intelligence.

Last, but definitely not least, we had someone from IBM Switzerland attend the session. IBM is a leading cloud platform and cognitive solutions company. With Watson, the AI platform for business, powered by data, IBM is building industry-based solutions to real-world problems.

All participants learning about the intricate details of Applied SAFe.

We all had a great time talking, laughing, eating, and brainstorming about Applied SAFe, being agile, and about our partnership.

PEDCO’s Applied SAFe Partners are companies that believe in agility at scale to successfully transform organizations towards a Lean-Agile culture. They have developed significant expertise in supporting large enterprises including companies within regulated environments through every phase of a Lean-Agile transformation.

We would like to welcome the new Quality Managers of Applied SAFe:

We will have Partner training’s like this on a regular basis. When we have our next one it will be announced in our blog and social media. Stay tuned!
